Our Community

 

Now that work on the Courtyard is complete, we are looking to refurbish our garden area to the rear of the Courtyard and create a memorial ash garden where members can choose to have their ashes placed.

SATURDAY DECEMBER 7TH AND SUNDAY DECEMBER 8TH:


GOOD SHEPHERD WAS THE HOST CHURCH FOR THE YORKVILLE HISTORICAL SOCIETY CHRISTMAS TOUR OF HOMES.  WE PROVIDED A PLACE OF REFRESHMENT (THANKS TO ALL WHO MADE COOKIES) AND OUR BEAUTIFUL SANCTUARY WAS OPEN FOR ALL TO VISIT WITH DOCENTS (ANOTHER THANK YOU) WHO DESCRIBED OUR SACRED SPACE AND TOLD A BIT OF OUR HISTORY.  CAROLERS IN COSTUME SANG IN THE COURTYARD TO THE PLEASURE OF ALL WHO VISITED US.
